Christmas

It was a busy, but fun Christmas. Jack enjoyed the tree a little too much. Many ornaments were lost this year. Luckily, they weren't the good ones.


He especially enjoyed this one. It's a bell, and it's quite noisy.


"Who me? Touch the ornaments? Pay no attention to the one-eyed reindeer behind me."


My mom, Chip and Jess braved the monsoon and came to open gifts later in the day.


Nana had cookies. Notice who is sitting at her feet....


Ch-Ch-Ch Chia and Geronimo Stilton books. He was so happy.


All-in-all, a very nice Christmas.

South Carolina Aquarium

We took the boys to Charleston on Saturday. Daniel was dying to go to the aquarium and we were dying to get out of the house. The SC Aquarium is AWESOME. I love, love, love the Great Ocean Tank! The sharks are huge! I must say, the touch tank was really cool also. We touched a stingray, horseshoe crab, whelk and hermit crab. Who knew stingrays were so soft?

Jack had a blast playing in the play areas. The walls were glass so you could look out on the harbor and watch the barges and tug boats (Mike’s favorite).

After we did the aquarium thing, we ate some seafood and walked around the Market. It was such a beautiful day. Daniel tried to talk us in to taking a carriage tour, but he settled for just petting the horse.


The Market was way too crowded, so we decided to grab some ice cream and head home.

We made it home at 7:00 and were asleep by 8:00!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween - went to two festivals and then trick-or-treating.

Poor Jack, we wore his little butt out. He couldn't even make it for Trick-or-Treating.

Beautiful Weather

This weather is no nice! I just wish it were a little cooler for Trick-or-Treating tonight. Now, I have to go get Darth Vader and Yoda ready for the Fall Festival.
